SMIRK – (Parenthetical Observations) (2010)
The Smirk shenanigans continue! In the interest of vanquishing boredom, I recently recorded a new album with INTENSE help from my friend and musical master Ryan Dicker, who recorded, mixed, engineered, and produced all the songs. He also plays lead guitar where noted, and does a better job than I ever could have! What did I do? I wrote and composed them and then played and sang a bunch…enjoy!
SMIRK – Caliyougo (2008)
- Cosmopolitan (Featuring Ryan Dicker on Elec. Guitar)
- Hey Rapunzel
- Sidekick (Featuring Jeremy Diamond on Bass)
- We Created This Mess
- It’s Here Now Try It
SMIRK – KINDA’ SOBER (2005)
“Smirk” is my first solo effort after the cessation of Punchclock. Smirk is a “band” featuring me on Guitar, Bass, Drums, and Vocals. This album was recorded in my apartment on Portland’s nominally famous Hawthorne Blvd. during my first summer in Portland, OR, during June and July of 2005. Most of the songs were written that same year, but a few were leftovers that I rearranged from Pittsburgh in 2003…
PUNCHCLOCK – SURPRISE ME (2004)
Punchclock was my first post-college band that I formed. The band was situated in upstate NY, specifically in the town of Ithaca, NY, but we performed in different cities along the East Coast from July of 2003 until December of 2004. The band only recorded one album, called “Surprise Me,” but the album achieved some moderate success (locally, of course), and to this day I remain proud of this record. Punchclock features Mike Oppenheim on Guitar and Vocals, Franck Rey Herme on Guitar and Keys, Cindy Williams on Bass, and Al Frenklach on Percussion. We have plenty of CD’s left …and they’re now FREE…all ya gotta do is contact me.
